Middlethorpe Spa – The Essential Men’s Facial.

Tucked away on its own private garden, and only two and a half miles from the historic city of York, Middlethorpe Spa may be petite….but it is certainly mighty!

From the moment you open the garden gate and approach the cottage style building, a sense of calm and relaxation pervades. Inside the tardis like spa has three health and beauty treatment rooms where their therapists offer a wide range of spa treatments as well as a pool and exercise area.

The top-quality treatments on offer include include facials, body massages, holistic treatments as well as cosmetic care for the whole body and I was thrilled to hear that  most treatments are as beneficial to men as they are for ladies. What’s more therapists are always on hand to recommend the most suitable protocols and each treatments is  bespoke to the clients individual needs.

I opted for the  The Essential Men’s Facial because I felt that my dull winter skin was in need of some dire attention. Happily this  treatment is suitable for all skin types and my therapist soon got to work deep cleansing my skin and then hydrating it with essential oils. Just as I was blissfully drifting off, the treatment concluded with a scalp massage which elevated my already relaxed state to another level. 

Immediately after my treatment, the benefits were clear,  my skin was brighter and more luminous, and throughout the following week it remained hydrated and protected against the elements.

Thank you Middlethorpe Spa for this much needed ‘glow up’ it was the perfect way to start my day and compliment my stay at Middlethrope Hall.
