‘The ultimate man-friendly facial!’
A stones throw from York racecourse is Middlethorpe Hall Hotel. This palatial William and Mary mansion is now a country house hotel filled with antiques, gilt framed portraits and flickering fires. Choose from a either a luxury suite in the main house or a cosy stable room close to the courtyard garden, and you will experience a Yorkshire welcome in grand but relaxing surroundings.
Middlethorpe also boasts a small but perfectly formed spa, it’s the cutest. It has treatment rooms, an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and mini gym all housed in a cottage in the garden close to the hotel. The spa offers a wide range of relaxing treatments to suit both sexes, which are good for the body and also the soul.
Decleor Power-packed Vitamin Surge Facial
After discussion with my therapist I opted for a Decleir Facial and my treatment began with a unique back diagnostic massage. I found this completely relaxing, and crucially my friendly therapist was able to use it to gauge of my overall health and specific needs. We then progressed to a rebalancing Essential Oil elixir with a warm, decongesting mask which purified my skin.
Above all I really rated the therapists use of expert massage techniques and 100% pure, preservative-free Essential Oils.
It’s well known that Decleor’s facials feel great and also show tangible results, and in my case this treatment literally melted away stress. Combine this with a man friendly spa environment and a facial power packed with vitamins and anti-oxidants, and you have a winning treatment that is sure to make you looked more rugged and less rough. I left happy that the specific demands of my skin had been addressed and looked smoother, line free and visibly radiant… thanks Middlethorpe I’ll be back!
