What is vetiver you say? In the most basic terms, it’s a type of grass native to India found in bushes and often is used in perfumery and aromatherapy. It’s a sort of sibling to lemon grass, with that similar zesty, fresh scent – ie, it’s perfect for summer. And as it’s such a fitting ingredient for summer fragrances, there are plenty out there as perfumers go to town with this stuff. But don’t worry, we’ve done the hard work so you don’t have to, we’ve rounded up our top six to suit your vetiver fancy.
